We worked a bit on getting the rendered coloring to work with my cartoony art, but it came out pretty well. I intended to do more stories with young Barry. never got around to it.
That's an interesting point. Highly modeled rendering doesn't always go well with strong line art. The lines themselves serve as reductions of detail, then adding the coloring increases the detail so they almost work against one another.
It works well in this story. But it's definitely something to watch out for.
