Since we're talking about pencils as finished artwork, I thought I'd show an OLD piece I did for a longer book where I used pencils to differentiate between "real time" and "flashback".

Very nice Nate. the fact that you made this work, sans color, is impressive.
Tight pencils.
It's always neat to see how artists handle things like flashbacks/dreams/etc. Shifts in the current reality with visual cues to the reader.
