"Echoes" page seventeen

And that completes "Echoes", written by Cyd Clark-Praxis and illustrated by me. First time publication and currently the only place you can read it is right here on the Wizards of Ur blog. That's right. The WoU. Badass sages, wicked mages, and wizard wizards we are. We come to your neighborhood and you better run 'cause we're not foolin' around. See?

Wizard!

  2. Thank you. I appreciate getting some feedback on it. I can't trust my close friends to be honest!

  4. Didn't you hear what I said? Wizard!!

It's an invocation of mystical power from the dawn of time. You will be enthralled anytime I utter the word.

Thanks, Brian! I think it turned out ok. I still think Cyd's original script is better than the savage brutality I put it through, but that's ok.

I noticed a few more mistakes this time around. Mostly in the lettering. Little stuff here and there, spelling and what not.

I actually dig the mix of digital and traditional media. I don't know how often I'll use it, but it worked out not too bad. Especially for larger areas that don't have much detail.

  5. Great story, very nice ending, beautifully written and executed. My only question is: why do wizards never get any?!? It's not fair I tell you.

  6. The only reason I joined the Wizards of Ur was that I figured there's be groupies!
    What a bummer.

  7. The groupies are given my phone number upon entering this mystical zone. Thus, you will never see them for I am a jealous and powerful wizard.
